The story behind our company

Strategic Hire Solutions (SHS) was founded with a heartfelt mission: to empower Service People, Service Leavers, and Veterans in building a fulfilling post-military career. Inspired by personal experiences within our team—many of whom are veterans or have close ties to the Armed Forces—we understand the challenges and opportunities of transitioning to civilian life. Recognising the immense value of military skills in the workforce, we built SHS to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity.

Our Journey

A look at how we’ve grown from an idea to a platform

Beta Development

Our platform’s development has been informed by extensive research and real-world insights. During the Beta phase, we made it a priority to understand the challenges faced by Service People, Service Leavers, and Veterans transitioning to civilian careers. This included engaging with veterans, analysing market gaps, and benchmarking against existing recruitment solutions. This approach laid a solid foundation for creating a platform tailored to the needs of our members, ensuring meaningful support at every step of the hiring process.

Alpha Testing

We have partnered with a branch of Service Leavers from the Royal Artillery. These early adopters will play a crucial role in shaping our platform, providing invaluable feedback on its features and functionality. By working closely with individuals transitioning from military to civilian careers, we are able to identify their specific needs, challenges, and aspirations. In this stage we aim to refine our assistive tools and knowledge base.
